*Cake Decorator – We are looking for decorators for our upcoming Wedding season. It requires patience, talent, and attention to detail when designing a tiered masterpiece. Must be able to ice round and square tiers with speed and accuracy. We take on a high quantity of wedding cakes each week. We expect our trained wedding decorators to complete 20 wedding contracts per week.  The majority of our contracts follow our mainly white on white, predetermined signature designs, with occasional exceptions for painted on colors and custom cake contracts. New trainees will work with our retail department during training to learn how to use our mousse whipped topping. Availability requires either a Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday schedule. Daily hours fluctuate depending on quantity of orders but will add up to a work week of between 30 to 40 hours. Serve safe certified – preferred, not required. Ability to stand for extended periods of time with limited breaks and lifting 50 plus pounds is required

Shower Cake

*Retail Decorator – We are looking for help in our retail cake department. This includes getting to know our menu and fillings to jump in to fill cakes as needed, ice rounds and sheets with speed and accuracy. Also, the ability to write on cakes in our ganache consistently. New Trainees will be trained in how to use our mousse whipped topping.  Decorators are required to have an eye for arranging curled ribbons and silk flowers in an appealing way. Availability requires a Monday through Friday schedule. Having availability on Saturday is not required but would be appreciated. Daily hours fluctuate depending on the quantity of orders but will add up to a work week of between 30 to 40 hours. Ability to stand for extended periods of time with limited breaks and lifting 50 plus pounds is required. Seasonal

 

naked cake 2*Cake Assembly/ Builder- We are looking for help in our cake assembly/ building department. This includes cutting and organizing freshly baked cakes, assembling cake orders for our decorators with our mousse whipped topping fillings, food preparation, and some top coat icing. Availability requires a Monday through Friday schedule. Having availability on Saturday is not required but would be appreciated. Daily hours fluctuate depending on quantity of orders but will add up to a work week of between 30 to 40 hours. Ability to stand for extended periods of time with limited breaks and lifting 50 plus pounds is required. Seasonal

*Weekend Wedding Drivers – Every summer we try to build our past Wedding delivery staff as we continue to grow! Must be able to communicate effectively with associates, management, client’s and vendors while displaying patience and represent themselves and Buttercream in a professional manner. Availability requires Fridays and Saturdays from spring into fall with the occasional Sunday route as needed. No experience needed – We train our delivery staff one on one with piping basics, cake structure, and floral placement.
